7/3/2023 0 Comments Milliput putty almond volorJoseph of the Ford) was originally part of the San Miguel del Vado Land Grant in 1794. All grades are heat resistant, easy to work with and are water and chemical. Can be moulded like putty and will not shrink as it dries, forming a durable repair or model which once fully cured can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted. If you are NOT, I would advise Sculpture putty of various brands to deliver a more easy and cheaper medium from which to work. Milliput is an epoxy putty which comes in two sticks when you mix the sticks together it becomes a soft putty that will harden like stone in about 2 to 4 hours. Like its neighbor, San Miguel, San Jose Del Vado (St. Milliput is cold-setting, self hardening, and will even set under water. It is also NOT cheap.all in all, it is something that if your patient, fairly experienced in sculpting or modeling, I'd recommend. It usually takes up to 12 hours to cure to a hardness that will be s andable WITHOUT clogging up your ebrasive paper with the un-curred compound. Used to repair leaks, holes or cracks in materials such as plastics, metals, fibreglass, concrete and ceramics. It is best shaped using warm water, but it's messy in the process! It needs to be mixed in equal proportions, and due to this, I've found that almost every box has more of the Ceramic epoxy compound, than that of the Catalyst.so almost every box will have leftover material.unable to use!!! It is also not "Quick to dry". Description Milliput is a two-part cold setting, non-shrinking epoxy putty consisting of a low-molecular weight liquid epoxy resin and a polyamide curing agent. Oatey Epoxy putty is a multi-purpose sealing, patching and mending compound. It needs to be applied in small quantities and worked quickly to your desired surface or shape. I use Mr Color thinners to clean up after Mr S and Mr DP, it can also be used damp on a cotton bud to smooth over the joints once the Mr S/Mr DP starts to film over but isnt fully set, takes a bit of practice to judge when to start smoothing but once you get the hang of it you dont necessarily need to sand at all depending on the joint, greta. OK, that's what it is, now here's what it's not. It is a two part epoxy putty, that when "Mixed" together, will be workable as a putty for approximately 25min., then will dry rock hard. The putty is fairly odorless and washes off with soap and warm water. It's water soluble initially when you first mix it which makes smoothing out the surface easier as you spend less time later sanding the putty level. Milliput is a product developed in England, as a means to repair Ceramic items. Personally I use Milliput superfine to fill in large gaps.

7/3/2023 0 Comments Carbonite endpoint downloadShould you need it, business customers can deploy AES 256-bit encryption, and Carbonite won't keep a copy of the key (top tier security and hacking protection, but if you forget your password then like above, your files remain encrypted for eternity). There is also the option for you to keep your own key, but be aware that Carbonite won’t be able to help you get into your account if you lose or forget this. On the personal plan, AES 128-bit encryption is used, but the company keeps a copy of your key so it can unlock your account should you mess up and forget your password. The security options available under Carbonite range from pretty secure to extremely secure, depending on what subscription you have. (Image credit: Carbonite) Carbonite security We did find the backing up process was relatively slow, even with our limited upload speeds, but once the first run is complete this isn't too much to worry about. There isn't the option to open or to stream your files from inside a browser, for example. It is possible to log into Carbonite on the web, and to view (and restore) your files from there, but you only get the basics as far as an online interface is concerned. That said, it’s a tool that’s designed to run in the background and for that, it is reasonable. What we did notice is that it wasn’t as quick as say, Google Drive. Upload and download speeds are hard to calculate given the ambiguity of the progress bar - it’s not clear exactly which files are being backed up and whether they are in the preparation state or are actually transferring to or from the cloud. Ordinarily, we like to see this extra level of control to help users manage their system and network usage. You do get the option to pause the backing up process (or you can of course just close Carbonite down), but under normal circumstances, Carbonite will be running away in the background, quietly copying new data and file changes to the cloud for you.Īt least in the macOS client we tested, there was no control over the bandwidth usage. You don't get anything as fancy as scheduled backing up here – Carbonite is either busy backing up your files and monitoring your chosen folders, or it isn't. Top-tier personal memberships - called Prime - add a courier delivery service of recovered files, too, which is great if you’re trying to restore a lot of data with a poor broadband connection. Again, these options are simple to access and straightforward to work through, so you won't be wasting time hunting through help screens. If you ever need to restore some or all of your files, Carbonite can download them to a single folder (which is useful if you're doing the restore from a different machine), or try and put them back in their original location on your system. (Image credit: Carbonite) Carbonite interfaceĬarbonite doesn't offer the most intuitive interface we've come across – the method of picking files from disk to back up or ignore takes a few minutes to get used to – but in general, the desktop clients get the job done in a simple and straightforward way. Naturally, there is no support for file sharing because this is primarily a backing up tool and not a storage solution. When we reached out to Carbonite for clarification, we were told that the backups keep “up to 12 versions of your changed files and will also keep at least three versions of a file regardless of age.” In contrast, both BackBlaze and Zoolz keep unlimited versions of backed up files, however they are both currently more expensive than Carbonite.Īnything that is deleted from your computer remains in your backup history, and is flagged with a warning icon to let you know that the file no longer exists locally on your computer, which is handy for accidental deletes.Īs you would expect from a dedicated cloud backup service, there is no file size limit which means you should be able to back up every file, including large media files. That's something to bear in mind when comparing Carbonite against the other options on the market. Carbonite is first and foremost aimed at desktop backups, and it's always nice to see provision for mobile devices as well, so it's a shame that it's not included here.Īny files that you delete from your Carbonite cloud storage can be brought back from digital death for a period of 30 days afterwards, though oddly, versioning (where you can go back through several versions of a file) is only available on the Windows client and not the macOS one. Currently there is no support for mobile backups. More recently, Carbonite has launched iOS and Android apps, which place a focus more on accessing backed up files rather than actually backing up the device. Conveniently to view the deleted or lost data since they are marked in red color.Preview the data before recovery can make you check whether they are indeed what you want so that you can avoid spending too much time getting back a batch of wrong files and save your time. Preview Detailed Contents before Recovery But if you need to recover all data from your device, you need to root your Android device firstly. Photos and videos can be restored from an unrooted device.Support all Android versions, including Android 12.Work well with all Android devices manufactured by Samsung, Xiao Mi, Vivo, RealMe, HTC, Motorola, LG, Sony, Google, Asus, and so forth. As it is known to all, Android phones & tablets have too many models and brands on the market, so MobiKin has added the latest technology into the program and tested for hundreds of times to ensure it can supports 200+ Android mobile phones and tablets. To be a good data recovery program for Android devices, one of the most important features will be high compatibility. Supports Various Android Device Models & Various Android OS Media and document will be preserved as its original format for further editing and viewing as you like.Contacts and SMS will be restored and saved as TXT or HTML format on your computer.
7/3/2023 0 Comments Hp spector proThe Spectre x360 15's battery life isn't bad for a laptop with a 4K OLED panel, and your mileage will vary based on the type of content on the screen. Unsurprisingly, the XPS 15 dominated with 189 fps. The Spectre x360 did especially well in real-world testing, averaging 118 frames per second on the Dirt 3 racing game benchmark (Medium, 1080p), which crushes the category average (73 fps) and beats the MateBook X Pro (117 fps) by one frame. The XPS 15 and non-OLED Spectre x360's comparatively overpowered GTX 1050 Ti Max-Q GPU notched 6,780 and 6,639, respectively. On the 3DMark Fire Strike graphics benchmark test, the Spectre x360 15's Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU scored 3,265, which falls short of the average premium laptop (3,831), but it does beat the MateBook X Pro's identical MX150 GPU (2,525). While it couldn't get past the premium laptop average (566 MBps) or the non-OLED Spectre x360's 1TB SSD (566 MBps), our unit surpassed the MateBook X Pro's 512GB SSD (283 MBps) and the XPS 15's 512GB SSD (391 MBps). HP's 1TB SSD copied 4.97GB of data in 12 seconds, translating to a relatively slow 424 megabytes per second. MORE: Laptops with the Best Overall Performance The XPS 15 (10:12) and non-OLED Spectre x360 (10:45) did it nearly 10 minutes faster, however. The Spectre x360 took 21 minutes and 13 seconds to transcode a 4K video to 1080p on our HandBrake benchmark, which beats the 22:38 category average and the MateBook X Pro (27:18). Of course, more powerful laptops with an H-Series Core i7-8750H processor, like the Dell XPS 15 and the non-OLED Spectre x360, scored a higher 21,201 and 21,889, respectively. On the Geekbench 4.1 overall performance test, the Spectre x360 nailed 17,115, soaring over the average premium laptop (13,491) and the MateBook X Pro's Core i7-8550U CPU (13,769). Still, this machine juggled 40 Google Chrome tabs and five 1080p YouTube videos without its Core i7-8565U processor and 16GB of RAM breaking a sweat. This OLED version of the Spectre x360 15 features a U-Series chip (quad-core) as opposed to the more powerful H-Series chip (hexa-core) on the premium model. You can tune the audio with the HP Audio Control app, with settings like Music, Movie and Voice as well as a full equalizer, which helped, but not enough to enhance the bass. Overall, the sound is fair, but I wish the speakers had some extra bass. Meanwhile, the vocals were crisp, but the higher pitched background vocals sounded a little sharp. The drum beats were similar: distinguishable but second to the vocals. The keyboard notes during the intro were a little too soft, nearly blending in with vocals, but they were still distinguishable. The Spectre x360's bottom-firing Bang & Olufsen speakers sounded decent, and they were loud enough to blast NF's "Let You Down" across a small office. You can download Windows Precision drivers to override the current one, however. On top of that, two- finger scrolling didn't feel as natural, and seemed slower than usual. However, it doesn't have Windows 10 Precision Drivers, and while you can change the touchpad settings via the Synaptics Pointing Device app, I didn't find a way to enable Windows 10 gestures like a three-finger click to bring up Cortana. The 4.7 x 2.3-inch elongated touchpad on the Spectre x360 15 was as smooth as glass and offered decent clicks. On top of that, the keyboard has some strong white backlighting. Between the keyboard's evenly spaced layout and the way the palm rests curve downward to caress my hands, I always felt comfortable. Dell XPS 15: Which Laptop Wins?Īt 483 nits of brightness, the Spectre x360 once again destroys the category average (325 nits), and tops the MateBook X Pro (458 nits), the XPS 15 (447 nits) and the non-OLED Spectre x360 (247 nits).ĭespite having low travel, the Spectre x360 15's keyboard was pleasantly clicky as my fingers tackled each key like it was keeping up with the beat of a rhythm game. The Spectre x360's 15.6-inch, 4K OLED display is so colorful and vibrant that it made watching the IT Chapter 2 trailer that much more terrifying.Īccording to our colorimeter, the Spectre x360's screen covers a wild 258% of the sRGB color gamut, blowing past the average premium laptop (123%) as well as the MateBook X Pro (124%), the XPS 15 (164%) and the non-OLED Spectre x360 (157%). The panel was bright enough to make me forget that the glare was even there, and when Pennywise revealed himself in a pitch black space, I could still see a structure in the background as well as some of his costume. I could see each strand of hair on the crazy old woman's head, and when James McAvoy took the stage, his green-and-brown flannel shirt popped on the Spectre x360's display. WireframeSketcher comes with a great collection (over 140) of icons for contours in various sizes (small, medium, large, extra large) so that adding arrows and icons for forms is merely a question of selecting from a list (again all keyboard controlled if required).WireframeSketcher shows GUIDE LINES on the screen when objects line up properly and also allows nudging, zooming, etc. There is the start of a MOCKUPS GALLERY that has a small selection of completed screens that would be useful for starting projects (for example there is an iPhone selection for prototyping iPhone applications). It uses a set of WIKI syntax to create options within the WIDGETS – for example in the tab control, you can set which tab is enabled and highlighted, the Treeview control has mutliple otptions for the look and feel that can all be set within the actual widget. It’s easy to UPDATE (of course via Eclipse!).It uses a good selection of generic WIDGETS provided with the installation. It will even bundle the storyboard automatically into a single file PDF that can be sent to the customer – including all hotspots. It utilises HOTSPOTS so that links work, and enables a create INTERACTIVE prototype to be demonstrated to the customer.Screens and wireframes are composed of other screens and components, which means one update affects multiple screens instantaly It’s EASY to use (I was using this tool within minutes).Overall here are the main aspects I love about WireframeSketcher: Wireframing is key to creating good customer feedback and helps so much with the design process before critical resources have been allocated ideas can be shown for approval. I was using this tool within minutes and have added it to my essential tools. Generallyy speaking wireframeSketcher works straight out of the box, it’s simple to use and install within any Eclipse based environment. Other useful WireframeSketcher facilities This is a great concept and works really well within the whole Eclipse framework. The rendering in the palette shows a small preview of the object which can be further divided sown into categories for grouping purposes. These objects can be images or screens (master). The WireframeSketcher’s extensible palette option extends the concepts of assets so that you create and maintain your own repository of objects to be used within your wireframe. Refactoring allows you to move and rename objects without breaking all your wireframe designs – this is VERY useful! Extensible Palette As time goes on the repositories for the screens gets tidied up and re-vamped. In use, refactoring is a MAJOR saving of time… When screens are created they inevitably get created in an unorganised manner. Any changes are automatically propogated via Eclipse – WireframeSketcher now supports the plugins that support this feature. Refactoring overcomes the problems with linking to master screens and then changing the names or locations of those screens. WireframeSketcher has recently (within the last few days) been updated with ‘Refactoring‘. WireframeSketcher has a free version that is NOT crippled except for an export cross on imagesĪnother think I liked about Peter’s philosophy was that he was open to providing full versions for those people (like myself □ ) who were happy to blog about products that were actually very good at doing what they say they do! RefactoringĪfter having used the software within Eclipse Helios, Ganymede and Flex3 Builder I found it very easy to use and integrate with other applications.WireframeSketcher integrates into most Eclipse based systems including Flex3 from Adobe. WireframeSketcher is plain and simple without so many options it takes weeks to learn.WireframeSketcher works in XML format files, making it easy for me to re-use and create import and exports to other systems.WireframeSketcher has a Storyboard facility which creates dynamic, hot linkable walk-throughs for the customer that can be easily exported.WireframeSketcher can easily export to both PDF and PNG graphics.WireframeSketcher is modular – in other words screens and wireframes can comprise other screens and wireframes (effectively templates and masters) which means that one change to the master has the effect of updating all child wireframes – BRILLIANT.WireframeSketcher is an addin to Eclipse.I came across WireFrameSketcher whilst looking for an easy to use, extensible wireframe tool for help show clients concepts and ideas.
